1969 427 convertible Corvette 390 HP (numbers matching) Owned for 23 years & responsibly cared for. Could use a new paint job but not totally necessary. Engine has been rebuilt & balanced locally by a machinist with a degree in mechanical engineering (known for designing, building & the machine work involved in drag engines) transmission rebuilt, no casting numbers but correct gear box. Original equipment includes factory aluminum intake manifold, bell housing & steering gear cover. Numbers correct carburetor has been restored & refurbished by Ecklers in house experts. Odometer shows 9300 miles, however this is not documented. I have only put 3500 miles on the car in 23 years & the owner before me had it for 10 years & never drove it.

St. Louis Car Museum has acquired this stunning show quality LeMans Blue 427 390 horsepower 4 speed Corvette Roaster direct from the warm dry climate of Southern California. Equipped with its original numbers matching and healthy 427 CID 390 HP Chevy big block and 4 speed transmission, this car still boasts a host of original components not often found even on the most highly restored and correct Corvettes including: original block, cylinder heads, intake manifold, valve covers, carburetor, tower hose clamps, exhaust manifolds, transmission, rear end, functional factory smog equipment, radiator and overflow tank. Finished in gorgeous LeMans Blue over blue color combination, this recently cosmetically restored Corvette roadster is a superb example of Chevrolets greatest contribution to the automotive arena and features power steering, new brake system, working factory AM/FM radio, working instrumentation including clock, new RedLine tires and much more. This numbers matching and code correct Vette is among the rarest examples available. Prices for these vintage big block equipped Corvettes are already pushing the $70,000 mark and will continue to grow. For the astute collector and enthusiast, this is truly a unique opportunity seize the moment as moments like this are few and far between. Odometer is showing 1,786 miles, although it is possible this is actual mileage, we belive it to be 101,786.
